From the flow of the colors, like tea steeping in your cup, to the die cut that gives a small peek of the full image, this package is one you may not even want to hide away in your cabinet.

For Yarn Barn, I created a cleaner, strong logo and fun patterned bags for small and large purchases along with other collateral pieces including a sample card, business cards, and gift cards.
A variety of energy drinks are produced and consumed by many today.
Bright packaging, bold type, and a crazy slogan are all used to catch the eye of the consumer. But their target remains the same; teens and young adults. Why not expand the market? By creating a line that uses all natural ingredients and is packaged in a not so in-your-face look, those in their 30s and 40s may give energy drinks a second look.
Any creative will tell you that the best way to do great work for clients is to find time to create for yourself. Whether it be a quick doodle, taking pictures at an event, or working a garden, we need to keep something going on the side where we can try, fail, and express ourselves. These are a few of my expressions.

Given a few random, unconnected objects to create a brand, Zafeíri was born. Zafeíri means 'sapphire' in Greek. And as anyone can attest to, it's the perfect way to describe the beautiful cobalt blue domes in Santorini. The color and shape of the domes were the focus in creating the logo. Voluta Script was chosen for the name as it had the perfect feel of relaxation with sophistication.
Creating a brand manual is more than handing a designer a book of how things should and shouldn't be used. It's about handing them the experience without them leaving their desk. It's about placing the desire to visit in their heart. It's about allowing them to believe that a place as such actually exists. Then the work that follows will always be breathtaking.
There’s always a designer, or seven, whom you idolize for their work, their creativity, and their determination to be themselves in a world full of copycats. One of my design idols is Jessica Hische. An amazing letterer. I was presented with the opportunity to connect with her by email and phone, and let me tell you, you should be very jealous.
From the funny to the serious, even to semi-life-changing, Jessica provided me with more inspiration than I could have ever hoped for. Because, after all, design is about life, not just a pretty color or nice flourish.

Bulwark is a music festival in the heart of Austin, TX, in the Austin City Limits live at the Moody Theater. This annual music festival features great musical lineups, great food, and even better local beer. But this music festival is about more than just having a great time with friends. Each year, a different non-profit is chosen to be highlighted. A portion of the proceeds from each ticket sold, as well as a nice donation from the sponsor, is presented to the chosen non-profit organization to help better the community of Austin, TX an those looking to make a difference.

Working for Beauty Brands I learned more about layout, interactive pieces, and photography. I was exposed to many opportunities to stretch my creative mind and push my limits. From mailers and emails to photography shoots and in-store signage, I was able to see all sides of promoting a brand and how I can be part of making it greater.
